The Sussex Swans formed in 1991, and are a founding member team of the British Australian Football League and have always proudly been based in Sussex. Hosting a Men’s and Women’s team that plays in the London Leagues as well as other tournaments and friendlies across the UK. Additionally hosting a number of friendly internal social games. We are a fun and friendly family to become a part of regardless of previous experiences with a number of coaches who are keen to see everyone become the best player they can be.

CLUBS AFFILIATED LEAGUES
The Sussex Swans are proud to be affiliated with multiple AFL leagues, offering various opportunities for players to get involved at different levels of competition. Our teams participate in the AFL London League and play against other English clubs through AFL England, while also having several players who train with the AFL GB squad. Whether new to the sport or an experienced player, the Sussex Swans provide an inclusive and competitive environment to develop your skills and enjoy the game.
For information on the different leagues that the Swans are connected with follow the links to AFL London and AFL England. Both our Men’s and Women’s Teams play in the London League with additional tournaments across the UK.
TEAM GB
Several of our players also play for the GB Bulldogs AFL squad. If you're interested in playing for the GB Bulldogs, follow the provided links and speak to one of our coaches for advice on improving your skills and pursuing your goal.
In addition to the London League, the Sussex Swans play fixtures against other English clubs through AFL England. These games provide a chance to experience different play styles and build a sense of community among clubs across the country.
